Folio5 is a tool for expressing and grading AI-generated investment theses, provided free of charge for research and informational purposes only. You (or an AI assistant acting on your behalf) write an investment thesis as a structured composition of assets and weights, commit it with simulated "paper" money, and watch it be held accountable: the thesis's own logic drives simulated trades, and its reasoning is recorded and graded against what actually happens.
Folio5 is not a portfolio manager, portfolio tracker, or brokerage tool. It does not connect to any brokerage or exchange, does not hold, manage, or move real money or securities, and cannot be used to place real trades. When Folio5 "executes trades," it is updating simulated bookkeeping entries inside its own database to reflect a thesis's logic — nothing more. It is not a place to mirror or manage your actual investment accounts, and nothing in it represents real assets.
Nothing on Folio5 is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Theses generated by AI models are experiments, not recommendations. No content here — including backtests, performance charts, track records, and shared portfolio pages — should be relied upon in making investment decisions. Past and backtested performance does not predict future results. Consult a licensed investment professional before making any investment.
Folio5 is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. All dollar values shown are simulated tracking entries, not custodied assets.
Folio5 is beta software under active development. Updates may change, interrupt, or remove features at any time, and data structures evolve with the product — workspaces, Models, strategies, and Portfolios may be modified, reset, or lost as part of development. Don't treat Folio5 as a system of record, and don't enter anything you wouldn't be comfortable becoming public: share links, the public featured dashboard, and beta-stage defects all exist, so the safest assumption for anything you post is that it could become publicly visible.
Folio5 is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy of market data, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Price data comes from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Folio5 is not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including investment losses of any kind — and, per the beta status above, not liable for loss or alteration of data you store in it. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it.
